Children's Ballet Recital

I am a ballet teacher that was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer and am now in remission thanks to an incredible team of doctors and nurses. During the difficult times of my treatment, I dreamt of returning to work and putting on a magical ballet show in celebration of good health and to raise awareness of the wonderful work of Professor Justin Stebbing’s research team. I feel very fortunate that modern cancer treatments have kept me alive and enjoying life.

We had an audience of 400 parents and siblings to see T’was the Night Before Christmas Ballet Recital on Sunday 27th November, who all gave generously to the Action Against Cancer. It was a wonderful day and made even more special to be able to share it with the group of ladies I met at the oncology clinic during the “Moving On” Programme. The children danced beautifully and the event was well received by all. We are now busy planning the next one and hope to raise even more!
